A collection of steam photos taken with a Kodak Brownie 127 when I was 14 years old. The moving shots were over-ambitious and subject to blurring. They are shown for nostalgic and historic reasons only. For further photos in this area see Railway collection no.15.

Up express approaching Bletchley headed by 1 Co-Co 1 6P/6F no.10203. Only 3 of these were built, at Ashford Works, this being the third and most powerful. For the technical people- English Electric Co. 16-cyl. 2000 b.h.p. Weight 132 tons. Driving wheels 3'7

First sighting of a BR 9F 2-10-0 no. 92008 heading a southbound freight at Bletchley 1954. I remember being so surprised I remained seated on the bench and just took the photo.
